Fall Into It

Even though summer has ended, we still have many functions upcom- ing at PCYC. OSU Saturday football is a weekly event. Many bring along snacks to share and there is always a crowd. This is also true of Sunday NFL games, depending on the teams playing. We have the Di- rect TV NFL package so we get all the games. Be sure and join in with your friends.

Download Brick Order FormThe final cruise out is planned for September 24, 25, and 26. Greg and Cyndi promise to send the season out with a “blow out” weekend. Sign up at the bar prior to the 17th. The dock pedestal installation will begin in early October. We will notify everyone of the dates that the power and water will be off in the affected areas around the marina.

Work continues along the west jetty with our annual brush killer application. The Corp of Engineers allows us to work off the lease payment with maintenance of the leased property. Lots of savings are realized for the club since we had maintained the property for years any- way. Eric and Nick have the beach looking great and firewood is there for those fall beach fires. Bring along a hot dog and enjoy.

Don’t forget the October 7 membership meeting. The slate of officers will be announced for the 2011 year that evening. Election will follow at the November annual meeting. VC Geoff is preparing a list of improve- ments and a budget for the year as well. It sounds like there will be a lot happening and your input is always welcome. Do we have room for larger tractor in that budget?
