They're In and They're Back

A sign that spring is soon to arrive is when the dock risers are installed. Thanks again go out to Steve Alexander and crew for completing this backbreaking task. This plus the spring flowers popping though tell us that boating season can’t be far behind.

Download Brick Order FormThe past month has been a busy time for the flag and board. Several projects have been approved. One of these is removing some of the worn wallpaper in the bar. This is a very well used area in our facility, and the wear and tear was starting to show. See RC John for details on what else is being planned.

The winter was very hard on the grounds, so some extra effort will be needed at this year’s work party. Please support RC John and come out and help on April 17th. If you haven’t attended be- fore, please stop by and find out why we call it a party!

The social committee has recommended and the board has agreed to enhance a few of our Friday Night Snacks over the coming months. Although they are usually well attended, the thought is, if we offer a little something extra, our club and mem- bership will benefit. Please watch for further details to come.

I would like to thank Mary Hetrick and Dianne Pachasa for agreeing to run the clothing store this year. They took over for Bobbi Bickley who handled it mostly on her own for the past several years. Dianne has already added some women’s tops and jackets and some very nice beach towels. She tells me that some new men’s items are on their way. If there is something you would like to see in the store, please let Mary or Dianne know. They are planning on having the store open from 4:45-6:30PM during Friday Night Snacks.

The last and probably the most evident sign that the warmer weather is near is seeing our snowbirds return. We are all looking forward to seeing the sunshine on your faces. They’re back!
