| TO: Port Clinton Yacht Club Members FROM: PCYC Golf Scramble Committee DATE: March 20, 2025 RE: 13th Annual PCYC Golf Scramble – May 16, 2025 Greetings, PCYC Members! As winter breaks, several unmistakable signs of spring are present. These include the emergence of open water on the lake, early budding on trees and shrubs, and the delivery of your invitation to the annual PCYC Golf Scramble! The committee is already receiving requests to register teams, so gather your golfing friends and submit your registration form ASAP to secure your team's entry. Registration forms and payment will be accepted at the PCYC bar, or may be mailed to Will Moore, 958 Lost Lake Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452. Please make checks out to "Port Clinton Yacht Club." Registration forms and payment must be received by April 19. This year's format will be similar to those in the past, with only a few minor modifications. Mulligans will be offered for purchase the day of the scramble, and the meal afterwards (included for all participating golfers) will be open to all PCYC members as a Friday Night Snacks; awards will still be presented in the ballroom. The cost will be $125/player, or $500/team, and the shotgun start will be at 12:00PM. If you are not able to participate but would still like to support the event, a limited number of hole sponsorships are available. An 18" x 24" sign displaying yours or your business's name on a tee box can be secured for $100. Please contact a committee member if you are interested. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to golf on one of the finest Arthur Hills golf courses ever designed. Securing a tee time can be challenging to even CIC golf members, so we encourage everybody to take advantage of this enjoyable, competitive event on one of the area's most revered facilities. Many thanks to the Beiers, O'Neals, and all past committee members who have made this a tremendous and long- lasting success. We look forward to continuing the tradition of this event, as it has become a highlight of spring and one of the many unofficial welcomes to summer!
